Someone phoned the studio today and asked quite sternly:

"How much is a tattoo?"
"What kind?"
"A tattoo!"
"What is it of?"
"I dont know"
"Then I cant give you a price."
"Why not?"
"Because you havent given me the vaguest clue what i'm pricing."
"A tattoo."
"Yes but what is it? what size? colour? black?"
"I said I dont know."
"You dont have a design then?"
"No I just want to know how much they are."
"Anything from 25 to hundreds depending."
"HUNDREDS?! I thought they'd be like 40 total, i'll try another studio, bye."
"Asshole."

Click.
That was the Friday Five by the way!
1. What was your most memorable moment from the last week?

A memorable moment? what? in MY life? HAHAHAHAHAAHA!!

Hmmmm, okay I suppose the funniest, most memorable thing that happened last week was dahling Simon taking a plastic head we'd decorated in the tattoo studio, and fixing it to the wing mirror of the van used by the shop accross the road from us. Sounds dull, but it was f**king funny at the time.

2. What one person touched your life this week?

Touched? uhhhhhh.... the doctor?

3. How have you helped someone this week?

I actually, sadly enough, helped a little old lady accross the road outside the studio the other day. Usually Simon helps her, great big scary Hells Angel literally stops the traffic for her, but he wasnt in the other day so I did it.

4. What one thing do you need to get done by this time next week?

I need to design a full arm piece for a customer.

5. What one thing will you do over the next seven days to make your world a better place?

I'm not even going to touch that one, we're all going to hell in a handbasket ;)

So, OSCARS night turned out to be pretty cool. I got tired of doing a running commentary here but I did stay up until 5 freakin am to watch the entire show. It was a goodun. Nicole got best actress... woohoo! and Adrian Brody gave a lovely speach when he won best actor. All in all a very funky night despite all thats going on in the world.

Nice to see some glitz amidst the darkness eh.
Catherine scooped Supporting Actress.... why havent her waters broken yet?!
John Travolta must die. Arrogant twit.

Ooooh.... 9 months pregnant Catherine Zeta Jones performing live *LOL* oh dear.... poor lass, doubt she'll be doing much prancing!

Break waters! damn you! break! it'll be hysterical!!
Y'know my opinion of J-Lo is turning... i'm beginning to like her and i'm not sure im totally comfortable with that fact. True, I still cannot stand her music, it makes me want to impale puppies. But still... I just like the girl. And she looks adorable presenting Art Direction... which just went to my prediction "Chicago"....
LOTR was robbed... again. Ah well. Next year will be the year of the Rings when 'Return of the King' gets honoured for the entire trilogy.
'Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers' scoops one for Visual Effects... too bloody right. Go LOTR!
First correct Prediction of the night, go me. 'Spirited Away' just won best animation... yeehaw. Good little movie that.
I've just noticed half of my little picture buttons arent working on the side bar. F**king freeserve piece of shit server...
Red Carpet action... and Salma Hayek looks f**king incredible. Meanwhile the usually lovely Julianne Moore (my 3rd favorite actress of all time by the way) is looking a bit pale and washed out in a weird looking green dress thingy.
Nicole Kidman once again looks astonishing... Halle Berry looks a bit drab if you ask me. Havent seen Catherine Zeta Jones yet but I bet she looks fab despite being the size of a house. Whats the betting her waters break if she wins?

Diane Lane looks amazing, absolutely gorgeous dress... and yet, I dont like her. Boo hiss.

Everyone on E! is taking the piss out of Hilary Swanks dress, but I personally think she looks stunning.

Still, i'm yet to see anyone look better than Salma Hayek tonight, shes amazing, absolutely beautiful.
Ahhh, tis OSCAR night again, how I love it. Below are my predictions and hopes for the night. My Prediction in bold, what I hope will win is in italic.

Very nice to see Salma Hayek up for best actress although I seriously doubt she'll get it. This year its going to be a race between The Hours, Gangs of New York and Chicago. And I will have money riding on Nicole Kidman winning best actress... its her year. And The Hours is... incredible.
Meanwhile, I cannot stand Renee Z... I just, she makes me shudder. I hope to hell she doesnt win, I cant stand her pouty face.

Anyway... on with the show....
